Hansika Motwani flashes an impressive resume; just 19 years old and has completed 15 films. Hansika started to become familiar in Tamil Nadu even before the release of her first film in Tamil, which was Mapillai with Dhanush.
The former child artiste is learning Tamil as she made debut in Kollywood - the Tamil film industry.
Four big hit Tamil releases this year, one with Karunanidhi's grandson and the other with Vijay is waiting to hit the screen, two Telugu movies Oh My Friend and Kandireega under production. Amidst her new found love for Tamil movies, she stresses equal amount of passion for Telugu projects that gave her a break and says God has been very kind to her and at this point of time she is extremely content.
Hansika is busy, successful but does it bother her that she isn't still numero uno? The actress feels she has age on her side and has a long way to go.
There will definitely be a project that she will come across some day and will become a super star but that will hold no importance to her. She has seen, studied the industry right from the time she was a child artiste and knows that it all takes one flop to bring one down the ladder.
Hansika is on a roll in Tamil cinema with so many projects on hand and in the pipeline. Now with her position zooming up in Kollywood, the bubbly damsel has taken a big decision to not to star in any film as a second fiddle.
"I have decided not to ever play a second lead in my life. I am not signing whatever comes my way, I would like to play good characters which will appeal to the audience," she declared. The actress is happy that her recently released two Tamil films are doing well and her comeback Telugu films are up to her expectations.
While people are comparing her to Actress Khushboo, whether this young talent will strike a fine balance and juggle well between Tamil and Telugu projects, we’ll have to wait to know.
