A day after stories of their split did the rounds, actor Saif Ali Khan has issued a statement saying that he and girlfriend Kareena Kapoor are very much together.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been together for almost four years now. The duo are reportedly passing through a rough patch as rumors about their strained relations and lack of trust start swirling thick and fast.

Recent reports had claimed, Saif wasn't happy with Kareena working around the clock, not spending enough time with him and more so, on how his girlfriend is spending too much money on her own family.

Actor Saif Ali Khan has already taken to damage control over such reports. He has slammed reports that his four-year-old relationship is going through a rough patch. "I'd like to reassure our fans and well wishers that all is well with Kareena and I...we are working hard but we always make time for each other. All these rumours are disturbing and untrue...especially when families are brought into it in such bad taste. I wouldn't like to say anymore except we are very happy together," the actor said in a statement.

Kunal Kohli had taken both Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor in his film thinking that off-screen chemistry will also work onscreen, but little did he know that they will break-up.

How far can you go to achieve your love? This is the basic crux of Prabhu Deva's Engeyum Kaadhal, which has Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles.

Romance is one genre that never fails in Tamil Cinema and it has been a while since we came across a full fledged romantic entertainer. This film has been making headlines ever since its launch, first for its title and then for the mesmerizing music by Harris Jayaraj, which is already topping the charts.

Overall, Prabhu Deva's Engeyum Kaadhal is a cool breezy entertainer perfect for this hot summer. It's love every where!

There are several plusses to the romantically titled Engeyum Kaadhal (Love Everywhere), produced by AGS Entertainment and directed by Prabhu Deva [ Images ].

The first of which, undoubtedly, is the scintillating location: Paris. Nirav Shah's camera-work is brilliant, capturing the colours in a way that thrills everyone.

Another advantage is Nalini Sriram's pretty costumes that show off the leads in a very favourable light.

Editor Anthony shows his skill, while Harris Jeyaraj's foot-tapping numbers, already chartbusters, have been picturized very well.

Engeyum Kaadhal is one of those movies that promises a lot, but delivers little.

Actor-choreographer-director Prabhu Deva's breezy entertainer Engeyum Kaadhal, starring Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles, is all set to grace theatres this Friday (06-May-2011). Music composed by Harris Jayaraj is already popular and is topping the charts.

The man behind a few super successful potboilers is back. The multitasker Prabhu Deva, who juggles many hats at the same time, is resorting to love with his new directorial venture in Tamil Engeyum Kadhal.

Engeyum Kadhal was rechristened a few times. It was initially called Paris; presumably keeping in mind the tax rebate thing, it was later renamed as Ich. It had Ich for a working title for a long time until Engeyum Kadhal came along and stuck. Completely shot outside India, Engeyum Kadhal might bring to Tamil its first NRI love story that was riding high for so long in Hindi movies.

It is touted that this film will prove very successful for ‘Jayam’ Ravi, for whom success has been eluding of late. Ravi is at the moment neck deep into his next project with Ameer titled ‘Aadhi Bhagavan.’ He plays a character quite contrary to his role in ‘Engeyum Kadhal.’

Songs of Engeyum Kadhal is also picturized in other parts of the world. The crew flew to Sydney to can a few songs and the neighboring beautiful locales of France as well. Engeyum Kadhal’s cast also includes Suman, Raju Sundaram, Marion Arnaud, Aurelien Chevallier and Prabhu Deva himself performing a cameo role.

The film has music by Harris Jeyaraj and consists of 7 sound tracks, distributed by Sony Music label. The album is received fairly positively by critics and fans alike. In addition to music, Harris also has penned lyrics for the song Kulu Kulu Venpani Pola. This song was later added in the track listing and sung by debut singer Arjun.

Prabhu Deva says that the story of the movie works in the opposite manner when compared to other Tamil movies. In Engeyum Kadhal, it is the girl who falls for the guy and not the other way round according to the director.

So it defies the usual logic for starters. Essentially Hansika Motwani gets besotted by Jayam Ravi and the movie revolves around their life and times in Paris.

"I was thoroughly impressed with the story the moment Prabhu Deva narrated it to me. I always wanted to work with him and my longtime wish has come true with 'Engeyum Kadhal'," says Ravi, hero of the rom-com Kollywood flick.

The film received a clean 'U' certificate from the Censor Board recently.

Produced by the Kalpathy Agoram group, Engeyum Kadhal is releasing this weekend and is distributed by Sun Pictures.

Indian actress Lara Dutta got married to Mahesh Bhupathi two months back but unlike many other couples these two chose to give preference to their work commitments.

Ask actress Lara Dutta about life after marriage with Mahesh Bhupathi and she chuckles, "It's the same. I see so little of Mahesh as was the case even before our marriage."

Ever since they got married in February this year, Bhupathi has been busy with tennis tournaments, while Lara has been overseeing the post-production of Chalo Dilli. This film, to release on 29th of April 2011, marks the debut of both Lara and Mahesh as producers.

"We're both very busy. He travels 36 weeks of the year and I'm busy with work. But, at the end of the day, it makes you feel happy that there is someone in the world who you can go back home to," Lara says.

When they are home together, does the actor do anything romantic for her husband, like making morning tea perhaps? "I don’t want to poison my husband just two months after marriage," laughs Lara. "I have never tried my hand in the kitchen! I don’t have the time; I’m too busy getting ready to head to work every morning."

Do statements like, only out-of-work actresses turn producers bother her? "These statements are coming from people who haven’t done anything in life. These myth-like statements should just be banned," she says.

"We will soon start the pre-production of the next film from our banners. Meanwhile, I have Don 2 to look forward to," she concludes.

Now, when her first home production film is set to release this week, the actress will finally have some time for herself and for her hubby. It is believed that the couple plans to go on a honeymoon and has chosen Bali as their dream destination.

Of the many reports that linked Rana to Bipasha, one went to the length of attributing his break-up with actor Shriya Saran, to the on-screen couples' off-screen chemistry.

Reports of a budding romance between Rana and his 'Dum Maro Dum' co-star Bipasha are aggressively doing the rounds, particularly post Bipasha's break up with beau John Abraham.

However when media approached Shriya, she had a different story altogether. And this is what's pissing off the pretty actress. "That's horrible to be dragged into somebody else's matter especially when I am not romantically involved with anyone. I don't know why they are using my name to publicize their film," fumes Shriya.

It’s no secret that Rana and Shriya have known each other for a long time and often hang out together among common friends. But, continuous link-up with long-time friend Rana has upset Shriya very much. The actress thinks that it’s Rana and Bips who are using her name to attract publicity for their film.

Shriya says she wants to focus on her work and rumours like these do irritate her. She’s presently shooting for Deepa Mehta’s film Midnight’s Children in Sri Lanka.

Seems like Ranbir Kapoor has finally had enough of his Casanova days. After incessant link ups to his co-stars and public attention to his private life, Ranbir's parents are not amused and Ranbir has decided to call it quits, at least for a while.

After too many link ups and unending media speculations about him and his Rockstar co-star Nargis Fakhri and at times even Anushka Sharma, the handsome hunk Ranbir said: "I've had enough. I just want to withdraw from the limelight completely for some time."

The actor has squashed rumours of a relationship with co-star Bipasha Basu.

"Shriya has known me since I was in college. We have known each other for eight years now and all other gossips are false. Don't know where the rumour keeps creeping from" he reported on his twitter posts.

He said in an interview, "I've no romantic inclination with either of the girls I'm being linked with. They are beautiful human beings, and good friends. But that's all. I am so neck deep in work, that I really have little time for anything else."

Denying reports that she is dating Rana Daggubati, Shriya says that it is just rumors. Bagging an international project opposite Siddharth, the actress has recently cleared the confusion about her link-up gossips.

"I met Rana when he was a student. I cherish friendly relationship with his family for eight years. I like them so much and they do respect me a lot. Except for friendship, there is nothing between me and Rana," she said.

Kerala born tamil-telugu-malayali film actress Gopika has started acting again and then the news started making rounds that she is pregnant.

Gopika tied the knot with Dr Ajilesh and had left the celluloid world to get settled in Ireland. However she has made a comeback through P Sukumar directed Malayalam movie Swantham Lekhakan opposite Dileep.

South Indian actress Gopika was seen during July 2009 with convex shape (indicating "baby bump" or pregnancy) which led to rumour mills start "confirming" that she is pregnant. When asked for confirmation at that time, Gopika laughingly revealed that it was a get up for her forthcoming Malayalam flick Swantham Lekhakan (Swa Le),in which she plays a pregnant woman.

Coincidentally, other reports indicate that the actress and her husband are really planning to become parents. In a recent interview during Kerala Piravi, Gopika had stated that the couple plan to start a family soon. Gopika also reportedly told her dad Anto Francis the happy news that he will be a grandfather soon. Confirmation is awaited.

But now, the real bump seems to be appearing, as Gopika was spotted with a huge belly recently even after the finishing of the shooting for the film.
